STOP THE ENGINE
1. Reduce the throttle to 0 position.
2. Pull the clutch lever
3. Switch the gear to N - neutral
4. Operate the brakes
5. After the vehicle is stopped turn off
the ignition.
ENGINE BREAK IN
During the first 1000 km do not ride
the vehicle over 75% of its maximum
speed. Avoid opening the accelerator
completely and varies speed repea-
tedly over long distances. After the first
1000 km increase speed gradually until
reaching maximum performance.
CAUTION
• The durability and the efficiency of
your scooter depend strongly on the
care received during the run-in pe-
riod. The mechanisms of the mobi-
le parts are mutually hardened and
adapted.
BRAKING
1. Release the throttle.
2. Apply the clutch lever gradually in-
creasing the pressure.
3. Apply the front and rear brake at the
same time.

WARNING
• Avoid hard or sudden braking (espe-
cially when cornering) otherwise the
motorcycle may skid.
• Railroad crossings, street-car rails,
iron plates on road construction si-
tes, and manhole covers become
extremely slippery when wet.
• Therefore slow down when approa-
ching such areas and cross them
with caution.
PARKING
1. Reduce the throttle to 0 position.
2. Pull the clutch lever
3. Switch the gear to N - neutral
4. Operate the brakes
5. After the vehicle is stopped turn
off the ignition.
6. Lower the side stand with your foot
while holding the motorcycle up-
right. Remove the key from the main
switch.

WARNING
Since the engine and exhaust system
can become very hot, park in a place
where pedestrians or children are not
likely to touch them.
Do not park on a slope or on soft
ground, otherwise the vehicle may
overturn.
