Procedures
This section covers procedures for using XANTÉ Utilities.
Spooler
If your printer has an optional hard drive, you can use the spooler to
place print jobs into a queue on the hard drive. These jobs then can
be reprinted from the queue, eliminating the time required to process
and send the file to the printer. The Save Spooled Job feature allows
you to save up to 250 print jobs on the hard drive for reprinting later.
For reprints, this eliminates the time required to process the file and
send it to the printer. See “Spooler” in chapter 6 for details.
Spooling can be enabled for each interface independently through
XANTÉ Command Center or printer front panel Interface menus.
Command Center also allows you to manage jobs in the spooler print
queue.
Using the Front Panel
The Spooler can be enabled using the Spooler menu for the interface.
