Displays the current authentication type:
Open
: Permits any client to use the AP
as long as they have the Passphrase
Shared
: Uses the WEP key as
shared-key to be exchanged between the
client and the AP as a simple form of
authentication.
WPA-PSK:
WPA-PSK (pre-shared key)
mode provides less robust authentication,
but does not require a RADIUS
infrastructure.
WPA-EAP
: WPA uses 802.1x and
Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)
for its authentication mechanism.
