Never use in the presence of explosive liquids, vapours
or explosive dust – such as coal or grain.
•
Never pick up asbestos or asbestos dust.
•
Wood dust and chips in a confined area can give rise to fire
or an explosion. Guard against possible ignition sources.
•
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smouldering –
such as metal grinding dust, cigarette ends, hot coals,
matches or similar.
•
The appliance is not intended for use by young children
or infirm persons without supervision. Young children
should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance.
•
Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments and
consumables.
•
Never modify the cleaner in any way - this is dangerous
and will invalidate the warranty.
•
Do not use cleaner without dustbag in place.
•
If motor sound becomes higher pitched always check for
the following: Blocked port. Blocked filter. Full container.
•
Always check that the filter is clear and not blocked.
Keep all openings clear of any blockages.
•
When lifting the unit, always lift it with the handle.
•
Always switch the unit off before changing attachments.
•
This is not a trade tool and is designed for house hold
applications and home handy man conditions.

Additional safety rules for the charger
•
Your XCEED tool with Lithium Ion batteries may
only be charged with the specific designed XCEED
Lithium Ion battery charger purchased with the tool.
IT IS DANGEROUS TO USE ANY OTHER BATTERY
CHARGER TO CHARGE YOUR TOOL.
Do not attempt to charge the battery pack with any other
charger than the one supplied.

If there is a problem with the battery or the tool, take it
to your nearest Authorised Service centre or phone and
speak with an experienced XCEED Customer Service
Representative for assistance in rectifying your problem.
•
Before using the charger, read all the instructions, labels
and cautionary markings on the charger and battery pack
as well as the instructions on using the battery pack.
•
Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to a
heavy knock, dropped or otherwise damaged in anyway.
Take the charger to an authorised service centre for a
check or repair.
•
Do not disassemble the charger. Phone and speak
with an experienced XCEED Customer Service
Representative or contact an Authorised Service centre
for assistance. Opening or removing covers may expose
you to dangerous voltages or other risks. Incorrect
reassembly can cause electric shock when you use the
tool or charger again. Take the charger to an authorised
service centre when service or repair is required.
Incorrect re-assembly may result in the risk of fire, electric
shock or electrocution. To reduce the risk of electric
shock, do not disassemble any part of the product.

If the battery pack is cracked or damaged in
any other way, do not insert it in the charger
•
Do not plug anything other than your XCEED tool into the
charger, as other objects may touch dangerous voltage
points or short out parts, which could result in fire or
electric shock.
•
Do not place the tool or charger on an uneven surface,
as a fall may cause serious damage.
•
Never place the tool or charger near or over a heat
source such as a radiator or heater.
•
Do not operate the charger in a cabinet or other
enclosure unless proper ventilation is provided.
•
Use the battery charger indoors only.
