a. When the vehicle needs to be moved but its driveline has failure, the towed vehicle speed can
not exceed 10 km/h, and the emergency signal switch should be turned on. The steering indicator lights
should also be on.
b. When the vehicle is dragged because of damages to the engine and transmission, the drive shaft
in front of axle 3 must be disengaged.
c. When the vehicle is tailored due to steering failure and damaged front axle, the front part of the
vehicle must be lifted.
d. When the service brake is damaged, the hand brake can be used to drag the vehicle.

7-3-3 Clutch operating
The pull-type diaphragm spring clutch is adopted for the truck crane chassis.
The clutch manipulation (see Figure 7-8) is realized by static pressure oil and gas booster. Depress
the clutch pedal to completely separate the clutch friction plates with the engine
fl
ywheel, playing a
role in cutting power.
In the case of clutch slave cylinder push rod does not move, the free stroke S of the clutch pedal
should be in the range of 40~60mm. If it does not meet the requirements, the gap of the master cylinder
push rod should be checked for requirements conformity. Check whether there is air in the static
pressure oil pipes.
