4-5 Lifting weight
Before lifting the lifting weight, the quality
of the lifting weight should be confirmed
through various means. At the same time, in
order to ensure the lifting stability, the mass
center of the lifting weight should be con
fi
rmed
through various means. After establishing the
mass center, one should adjust the lifting device,
select the appropriate lifting hanging position,
and ensure uniform and balance of the lifting
weight when lifting and no tipping trend.
1. Quality of lifting weight should meet the
following requirements:
a. Crane shall not lift objects exceeding the
rated load;
b. When unable to determine the accurate
mass of lifting weight, the personnel responsible
for the operations ensures the lifting load not
exceeding the rated load.
2. Hanging goods should meet the following
requirements:
a. Crane ropes can not be wrapped around
the object;
b. Objects are hung on the hook through
the sling or other apparatus with suf
fi
cient load
bearing capacity;
c. Slings should not be dragged along the
ground.
3. Hovering lifting weight should meet the
following requirements:
a. Drivers can not leave the control room
when the lifting weight is hovering;
b. Anyone can stay or pass through under
the hovering load.
4. Moving the lifting weight should meet
the following requirements:
a. When commanding the lifting operation,
the related personnel should notice the following
requirements:
1)Use the suitable lifting riggings;
2)When the lifting weight is just lifted
away from the ground, one should ensure the
safety, and the lifting weight on the rigging or
lifting device maintains the balance.
b. Before starting the lifting operation, one
should notice the following requirements:
1) No entanglement of lifting steel wire
rope;
2) Several steel wire ropes should not be
winded together;
3) Make the lifting weight rotation minimum
when using the hook for the lifting operation;
4) If the phenomenon of the rope slacking,
it should be adjusted to ensure the steel wire
rope on the winding drum or pulley position
without relaxation phenomenon;
5) Consider wind effects on the lifting
weight and crane;
6) No collisions of the lifting weight with
surrounding other objects;
c. In the lifting process one should note:
1) No sudden acceleration and deceleration
when lifting the heavy objects;
2) No collisions of the lifting weight and steel wire
rope with any other obstacles;
Construction instructions
7. Bearing capacity requirements in joint
lifting operation process
When the
fi
rst to
fi
fth related factors meet
the prescribed qualified requirements and are
recognized by assignment personnel, in that
way, every day the crane operation can achieve
the rated load.
When the above factors can not achieve the
required quali
fi
cation requirements, assignment
personnel should decide to use the crane by
reducing the rated load based on specific
circumstances. It can be reduced to 75% of the
rated load or more.
