10 Checklist

Clamping system is open
Clamping system is closed, but
no pin/tool is inserted
Close clamping system
Insert tool
Tool or pin is not held
firmly enough in the collet
Diameters of tool shaft/collet do
not match
Collet is worn
Collet has become loosened
Bits and cutters are not
clamped in far enough
Check the diameter.
Replace collet/tool
Replace collet
Tighten collet
Push tool further into
the collet
