Deskewing Pages
Scanned Through
the Document
Feeder
This section should contain information about lower deskew effectiveness
with small paper sizes, particularly 5.5” x 8.5”.
This section states that the deskew feature can be accessed in the Image
Quality Tab of the Preferences dialog. It is actually on the General Tab of
the Preferences dialog.

Choosing an
Original Type
The reference to the “Text” original type in the table should be “Text and
Line Art”.

Cropping the Image
In the Note, the reference to “Mask” on the Image Size Tab should be
“Frame”.

Under the Brightness heading, there is a misspelling: “conrol” should be
“control”.

Quality Tab
This tab (and the DocuTech image quality modes it contained) has been
removed from the Preferences dialog. DocuTech image quality modes are
no longer available. See item number 16 in Table 3-1 for information on how
equivalent image quality settings can be attained.

Basic Features Tab
Under the “Original Input: Scan location” heading, it is stated that the
document feeder can feed 5.5 x 5.6 inches “long edge feed”. This should
be “short edge feed”.

Options Menu
Under the Preferences heading, the information about the Image Quality
tab should be disregarded, as that tab is no longer available.
