Scanner Hardware Options
Your Xerox DocuMate 765 scanner has several hardware options that
you can install or change to meet your needs. The instructions below take
you through installing the wire frame accessory, changing the scanning
background color, and setting the manual feed option.
Other optional hardware accessories, and instructions for installing them,
are available on our website at www.xeroxscanners.com in the Parts &
Accessories page for your scanner.
Wire Frame Accessory
The wire frame accessory is an optional part that you can install in the
scanner’s exit path. When scanning a stack of paper with varying sizes,
the wire frame keeps the paper neatly stacked in the exit tray.
To attach the optional wire frame:
1.
Lift up on the exit door release, under the input tray, to open the
scanner.
Make sure there is at least 18 inches of room above the scanner to
safely open the scanner completely.
