Tip
After changing the process direction position of the tandem mark, re-run DC 610 Image
Registration.
Caution
Do not exit DC 610 while test patterns are printing. Exiting causes the paper width to
be sensed again which may result in the registration shifting.
Caution
Do not attempt to make adjustments in greater than 4 mm steps at one time. If a change
of greater than 4 mm is required: Make a 4 mm change and exit DC 610. Then re-enter
DC 610 to make another adjustment.
DC 965 Head Maintenance Overview
DC 965 Head Maintenance purges ink through the jets of the Print Heads. This helps to
correct instances where there are too many missing jets for the CiPress
™
to appropriately
compensate for.
Tip
In a duplex configuration, print head maintenance cannot be performed on both CiPress
™
Printers simultaneously.
Circumstances where DC 965 should be run prior to printing include:
• After the CiPress
™
has been powered off for any period of time.
• When WARMING is displayed on the CiPress
™
UI for at least 10 minutes.
Note
DC 965 may have to be run more than once to fix missing jets.
