Printing from applications
You can print to the DocuColor 40 CP just as you would print to any other printer
from your application software. First, select the DocuColor 40 CP as the current
printer in the Chooser, and then print the file from within your application.
Another way to print from Mac OS computers is to download PostScript, EPS, or
PDF files using Downloader.
Printing from applications
Before you can print to the DocuColor 40 CP from applications, you must select the
DocuColor 40 CP in the Chooser. Then, using the AdobePS 8.5.1 printer driver and
the correct PostScript Printer Description file (PPD), you can control many
DocuColor 40 CP printing features by specifying job settings from print dialog boxes.

Selecting the DocuColor 40 CP in the Chooser
Before you print a job, make sure the DocuColor 40 CP is the currently selected
printer.
