Installing Software

System Requirements

Proper operation of the WorkCentre 480cx requires that your personal 
computer meets or exceeds the following system requirements:

IBM compatible personal computer, with a 486SX 33MHz or faster 
processor

Windows operating environment (3.1x, Windows 95, Windows 98, 
Windows NT 4.0)

At least 10MB of free hard disk space*

8MB  or more RAM** (Windows 3.1x), 16MB  RAM (Windows 95, 98), 
and 24MB RAM (NT 4.0)

* 10MB minimum hard disk space required for driver installation only. 
If installing the additional software packages included on the CD ROM, 
an additional 100MB free hard disk space is required (70MB Pagis Pro, 
20MB MGI PhotoSuite, 10MB LaserFax Lite). 

** 8MB RAM required for driver installation only.  If installing the 
additional software packages included on the CD ROM, 16MB RAM is 
required.
