Host Job Control section
The Host Job Control section, located in the lower-right corner of the
IPS main window contains three buttons:
•
Stop
•
Continue
•
Cancel Job.

Stop and Continue buttons
Use the Stop and Continue buttons to perform the same functions as
actual buttons on the printer:
•
Stop
— Allows you to interrupt job processing. You must also
click this button before you can click the Cancel Job button to
cancel printing.
•
Continue
— Allows you to resume job processing.
Note:
If you use the screen Stop button to stop a job, you must
use the screen Continue button to resume printing. You cannot
use the printer buttons interchangeably with the screen
buttons.
Cancel Job button
Use the Cancel Job button to cancel the current print job and allow
the printer to proceed with the next job in the host queue. You must
click the Stop button before you click the Cancel Job button.
If no job is being processed, this button is grayed out and cannot be
selected. If a job is in progress, this button remains grayed out until
you click the Stop button and the printer has stopped.
