Overview
The Network Interface Card (NIC) will normally
automatically configure the network configuration without
the need to access internal jumpers. However, there are
certain jumpers on the board that you may have to access
under certain circumstances. If you need to change the
jumpers, follow the steps in this section.
Make sure you do not have the printer plugged into a wall
outlet. If it is, unplug the power cord BEFORE you open the
unit.
Caution
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS FOR STATIC SENSITIVE DEVICES
The NIC is normally contained within the printer which acts
to protect sensitive components from damage due to
electrostatic discharge (ESD) during normal operation. When
performing installation procedures, however, take proper
static control precautions to prevent damage to equipment.
