WSD
Web Services for Devices (WSD) is the technology from Microsoft that provides a standard method for
discovering and using network connected devices. It is supported by Windows Vista and Windows
Server 2008. WSD is one of the several supported communication protocols.
Before you begin, ensure that the printer and client computers are on the same IP subnet.
Enabling WSD
1.
In CentreWare Internet Services, click
Properties
>
Connectivity
>
Port Settings
.

Select
Enabled
next to WSD.

Click
Apply
.
Configuring WSD
1.
In CentreWare Internet Services, click
Properties
>
Connectivity
>
Protocols
>
WSD
.
2.
Edit the following settings if required:
•
Port Number
. The default number is 80.
•
Data Receive Time-Out
in seconds. The default number is 30
•
Notification Delivery Time-Out
in seconds. Default is 8.
•
Maximum TTL
. The default value is 1.
•
Maximum Number of Subscribers
. The default value is 50.

Select
Enabled
for TBCP Filter.

Click
Apply
