Troubleshooting Printer Problems
Printing Problems
Blank Pages
If the start-up page ejects but is blank or if blank pages output from
the printer during a printing job, check the following:

Check the message window to see if it is displaying
LOW
TONER
or
TONER OUT.
Pages do not print if the printer is
out of toner or if toner is low and the Toner Low Action is set
to stop.

Be sure you removed the plastic covering from the cartridge
to release the toner.
See “Adding Toner,” in chapter 3, “Periodic Maintenance.”

If these solutions do not work, contact your QMS vendor.

If the jammed media
cannot be removed, push
the lever labeled D1 at the
top of the transport guide
to release the guide and
remove any media. Then
raise the transport guide
back to its correct
position.

Close the cabinet door.

Open and close the front cover to clear the jam signal.
