Add the servers node_name to the
/etc/hosts
file. The
node_name must match the name entered in the printcap file
in step 1.
For example:
1 3 8 . 2 3 9 . 1 1 1 . 1 1 1
n o d e _ n a m e
Be sure that
n o d e _ n a m e
is the same name you entered in
the
/etc/printcap
file in step 1.
Update the DNS database instead of /etc/hosts if the
system uses a Domain Name Service.

Start the printer queue by entering:
l p c s t a r t
p r i n t e r _ n a m e

To print via the spooler, use the command:
l p r - P
p r i n t e r _ n a m e f i l e _ n a m e
Refer to your host system documentation for a list of spooler
commands.
