Creating a
NetBIOS
Print Queue
This NetBIOS-specific activity is a continuation of Creating a
Print Queue on the File Server.
Note
To print using the NetBIOS protocol, the user must logon to
the servers domain. To do this, add the command:
logon/D:domain before the NPMST.EXE line and after the
Net Start line in the STARTUP.CMD file.
For NetBIOS printing, the LAN Manager file server and the
printer must be on the same network segment.

The Add
New NetBios Printer
window should be displayed
on your screen.
Enter the Printer Name of your choice.
The name can be up to eight characters long.
For example:
Pegasus.

Select
Share Printer On the Network
by clicking the box.
This option allows automatic sharing of the printer on the
network.
This option is enabled by default and works only if you
are logged on the LAN Manager File Server as
admin.

Comment.
This is an optional field

This option field is used to further
define a print queue.
