Using External Power Sources
The maximum output current rating for each power regulator is listed in
. If a
design exceeds this value on any core power rail, power for that rail must be supplied
externally through the 12-position core power terminal block J6 (callout
using a supply capable of providing the required current.
Caution!
The SW10 power regulator enable switch (callout
) must be set to the OFF position before turning ON the main power switch (SW1) and applying
external power to the corresponding rail input pin on the core power terminal block J6 (callout

The core power terminal block J6 has a maximum load current contact rating of 24A.
