Connecting Your FM Direct Adapter
IMPORTANT!
To properly install the FM Direct Adapter, you may need to
disassemble your car’s instrument panel and/or connect into your car’s antenna
system.
A professional installation is recommended

The FM Direct Adapter receives power from your Xpress radio. No additional power
source is needed.
On the FM Direct Adapter
:
Connect the cable labeled

To XM radio
to the
antenna
jack on the XM
car cradle.
Plug the car’s FM antenna lead into the jack labeled

FM antenna
located
on the side of the FM Direct Adapter.
An optional antenna adapter may be required to complete this step.

to your car’s FM antenna cable
