With each generation of iX platform, Xplore has continued to enhance and improve wireless communication
capabilities. The iX104C5 delivers advanced wireless performance through the integration of industry-leading
technologies supporting WLAN, broadband, Bluetooth and dedicated GPS capabilities. Xplore’s radio integration
and custom antenna designs optimize performance, while ensuring all wireless modules are integrated and
protected from potential shock, drop, vibration and ingress of water, dust, dirt and sand. Dedicated, high-
performance external rugged GPS modules connect reliably and securely as an integral element of the iX platform.
CONNECTIVITY
Xplore’s unique wireless radio bay is user-accessible and houses advanced WLAN, broadband and Bluetooth
radio options. Custom-engineered Wi-Fi antenna is housed in a secure “eyebrow” style chamber at the top
of the system – low-profile, sealed and secure. A broadband wireless antenna has been custom-engineered
for enhanced wireless performance and is also housed in a sealed and secure module on the top side of the
iX104C5 (DMSR model).
