Xplore’s iX104C5 incorporates advanced technologies from Intel

and Microsoft

as integral parts of the over-
all system. Additionally, Xplore has developed a number of management utilities that are part of the standard
system. As a result there are a number of core system management utilities and programs that help IT manag-
ers deploy, manage and service their iX104C5 with freedom from hassles and constant overhauls:

Xplore Universal Connection Manager (UCM) Utility – Aggregation of wireless and wired
communication capabilities in a single utility. Provides status and management tools to make it
easier for users to connect when and where they want to.

Intel

Graphics and Media Control Panel – Provides centralized graphics control panel to assist in
managing detailed settings – Resolution, depth, scaling, multi-displays, color enhancements, 3D,
media and power settings.

Xplore Panel Control Center – Single-touch quick view for P1-P3 (x2) programmable button settings
or full menu launch which provides finger touch and pen calibration and screen orientation controls.

ProSet Wireless Manager – Centralized control over wireless settings, statistics, event viewers
and diagnostics

Xplore Screen Brightness Slider Control Bar – Allows users to customize their display settings based
on specific operating environments. Selections include: Automatic (Automatic Light Sensor), Manual,
NVIS (low/high) and outdoor (night, sunlight) or indoor conditions.
Taken together, these utilities provide IT managers with the tools they need to quickly and reliably configure,
deploy and manage their IX104C5 systems and helps reduce overall total cost of ownership by reducing asset
readiness and field management resource time.
