To wind up the cable correctly, it must be lightly tensioned. To do this, hold the cable in
one hand (wearing protective gloves) and wind it up with the other hand.

Make sure that the cable does not slip through your hand.

Store equipment that is not in use: When not in use, the winch must be stored locked in a dry
place. Always keep the winch locked and out of the reach of children.

Accessories: The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer or specified in
the operating instructions may cause injury or damage to property.
Warnings
1. Never overload the winch!
2. This winch is designed for pulling, not for lifting!
3. Never bring your hand or anything else near the gear, drum and cable. Always wear gloves
when using the winch.
4. Never attempt to repair the winch. Only have repairs carried out by a qualified professional.
5. When replacing the cable, make sure that the end of the cable fits into the four holes on the
side of the cable drum and knot or weld the end of the cable to prevent the cable from loosen -
ing.
6. Use grease for the axle and gearbox before prolonged storage.
Maintenance and storage
1. Follow the instructions for regular lubrication.
2. Lubricate the cable and hook regularly with light grease.
3. Lubricate the drives every 6 months. Use a good quality waterproof grease.
4. Regularly check all parts, the steel cable and the accessories. Have them replaced if they are
damaged or worn.
5. Check the nuts regularly and tighten them if they are loose.
6. The winch must be stored in a dry place. Always lock it away and keep it out of the reach of
children.
