out, for example, by gradually stretching the entire length of the hose in a container with water
while simultaneously monitoring possible gas leakage in the form of bubbles. During the test, the
hose must be under direct pressure (max. 1.7 MPa) from a pressurized LPG vessel.
Changing the gas vessel must be done outdoors, away from any sources of ignition and out of
reach of other people. Before disconnecting the gas vessel, check that the burners are
extinguished. When troubleshooting, which requires disassembly and assembly of individual parts
of the appliance, it is necessary to switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the LPG vessel!
If you do not feel that you are technically proficient and some of the activities listed in this manual
(troubleshooting, etc.) would be difficult for you, contact a professional service or equipment
supplier.
Safety requirements
The gas
set may only be operated by an adult over the age of 18 according to the instructions in
this manual. When operating the set, the operator must also respect the fire safety regulations
and the regulations applicable to the specific workplace. The operation of the set must not be
entrusted to children and unauthorized persons under any circumstances, and this set must
always be stored out of their reach.
Do not use a kit that has damaged or worn seals. Do not use the kit if it is leaking, damaged or if
it is working abnormally. If your appliance is leaking (smell of gas), immediately take it outdoors,
in a place without open flame and with good ventilation, where the leak can be detected and
subsequently stopped. If you want to check the leakage of your appliance, always do it outdoors.
Do not detect gas leaks with an open flame, use a foaming solution instead.
The accessible parts of the burner (burner head, burner attachment) are very hot during and
immediately after operation! Prevent children from accessing the appliance! When working, make
sure that they are not near flammable substances, with the exception of materials directly involved
in the work process. Only place the lit burner on a stand positioned on a non-flammable surface
and with the flame pointing into free space.
It is forbidden to solder containers, canisters, etc., in which gasoline, kerosene, diesel and other
combustibles are transported. The surface temperature of the LPG vessel must not exceed 40 °C.
Any direct heating of the pressure vessel with LPG to increase the evaporation point of the liquid
gas is prohibited! After connecting the appliance to the LPG vessel, avoid tilting, turning and other
manipulations with the LPG vessel, as it would result in the liquid PB mixture swelling into the
connecting hose and the burner. After igniting the burner, as a result of incomplete gasification of
the liquid PB mixture, a significant blowout of the flame from the burner may occur. After the liquid
gas burns out, the size and intensity of the flame would return to the originally set values. The
result is clogging of the nozzle (poor combustion), excessive burning of the burner parts, soot
formation and a greater risk of fire (impossibility to control the flame).
Note
For safety reasons, never modify any parts of the kit! It is forbidden to convert the appliance to
another type of gas mixture.
