DISPLAY BACKLIGHT
For better readability, the spirit level display offers the option of
backlight
. Press and hold the
BIP
button
(9) for 3 seconds. To turn off the backlight, simply press and hold the button again for 3
seconds.
TIP!

The display backlight turns off automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity.
„HOLD“ BUTTON
The
HOLD button
(5) is used to lock the currently measured value on the spirit level display. To
lock the given measured value, press the HOLD button. To unlock and return to normal mode,
press the HOLD button again.

Locking the display is typically used for convenient reading of the value in hard-to-reach
places.
„REF“ BUTTON
The
REF button
(12) is used to set you’re a custom reference angle, other than the factory-set
angle of 0°.
1) Place the spirit level on any incline and make sure the device is stationary. Then press the
REF button
(12).
2) The "Ref" symbol on the spirit level display (11) starts to flash and stays lit after 3 seconds.
At that moment, the given angle is set as the new reference angle of 0°.
3) To return to the factory-set reference angle of 0°, press the "REF" button again.
„CAL“ BUTTON
The
CAL button
(13) is used for manual calibration of the device and setting it to the original
factory settings.
1) Press the
"CAL" button
(13) on the front of the display. The text "CAL" appears on the
display.
2) Let the spirit level lie freely on a horizontal surface. After about 5 seconds, press the "CAL"
button (13) again.
3) Then turn the spirit level 180° and let it lie freely again. After about 5 seconds, press the
"CAL" button (13) again.
4) Turn the spirit level back 180° to the starting position. The display shows "RDY" ("
ready
").
Press the "CAL" button (13) once more.
5) After the calibration is completed, the display will return to normal measurement mode.
