threading. A rear-nut ensures the seal is flat on the gland plate face. If the Micro-circular
port is to be used, this port may be tapped with an M12 thread to suit an M12 gland, or a
PG7 thread for a PG7 gland. Both thread sizes suit this hole.
•
If an internal barometric pressure sensor is used this can be done with a hose through an
M12 gland.

Switch
•
An IP67 momentary switch option can be mounted directly into this hole, for manual
activation of measurements or data transmission while on site, to confirm the site operates
correctly. This is best paired with the internal display option.
Glands
•
The 15.8mm
(5/8”)
port can fit a M16 gland directly. While PG9 is a close fit, the thread
length on PG9 glands is insufficient for the 6mm plate (with gasket). M16 glands commonly
come with 15mm thread length. Suitable M16 glands are available from
, to suit
cable diameters from 3mm to 7mm.
Cap
•
If the M12 connector is no longer used, a nylon screw cap is available to close the port
Blank
•
If the port is no longer used, a M16 stainless-steel blanking plug (with gasket) is available to
provide a waterproof seal.
