USB Port
On the Ai1POLE, the USB port is accessed through the rear vented port cover on the
rear of the unit. This port can be hand opened without the need for tools. The USB
cable provided includes LED illumination to make it easier to correctly locate the cable
inside the dark internals. Also accessible through this port are:

The internal ON/OFF switch is located directly below the USB port.

An internal LED provides indication as to the power state and program state, as
described in 4.1.2

Ai1POLE Bird Spike Kit
The Ai1POLE bird spike kit is supplied for final assembly on site. The kit includes two parts:

A long bird spike strip to be mounted on the two pre-drilled holes on the top of the Ai1 frame.

A square bird spike to be fitted at the top of the pole that the Ai1 mounts on

When assembling the bird spike kit, make sure that the spike parallel to the frame is installed first, then the
perpendicular spike installed second, so that the spikes are flush to the surface (as shown in the correct image
below). If the perpendicular spike is installed before the parallel spike, the spike will not be flush to the surface (as
shown in the incorrect image below).
