The wet mate bulkhead connector, 1m cable and sonde connector should all be lubricated with Krytox grease
(supplied with the sonde) before use and periodically when the grease may be wearing thin (i.e. every six to twelve
months). Instructions are available at

SDI12 Configuration
The SDI12 protocol is used to read the measurements from the sonde. The measurements reported and the units
used is configured using the KOR software. Refer to the EXO User Manual for the steps described in
Output
Configuration
for details on selecting the water quality parameters, units and their sequence, as below:
The measurements for the sonde are displayed in the
Public
table viewed from the
Data Monitor
tab. The Ai1 does not
know the name of each parameter or their units but displays
them in the same sequence as configured in the KOR software,
reporting WQ1 through to WQ10. To capture a new set of
readings, set
ReadNow
to true (-1). The sonde typically takes
two minutes to report a new set of measurements. The Ai1
simply maps these values through to Eagle.io where they may
be renamed with more accurate descriptions.
Unless explicitly ordered, the sonde is supplied for final assembly on site. It is highly recommended to calibrate
using standard solutions prior to deployment. Recalibration and maintenance requirements depend on local
conditions and data accuracy requirements.
