show events related to each connection. The indication that an Ai1 is connecting correctly is the event “Initiated
Acquisition [DEVICE]” which is the Ai1 initiating the acq
uisition.

Importing Data
If a station loses communications for any reason, it is possible to manually
download the data and import it to the same station. Right click on the data source
with missing data, select
Historic Data
, and then
Import
. This will load the import
wizard where you can upload a file containing the missing data and merge into the
existing station records

Using DevConfig
Device Configuration Utility (
DevConfig
) is a free powerful tool for configuring, monitoring, and managing the Ai1,
available for download from here:

Sending a new program
A connection to the station can be established remotely using PBRouter or locally with a USB cable plugged into the
port at the bottom of the unit.
Using DevConfig, select the connection method:
•
Via PBRouter. Select
CR300 Series
datalogger,
IP
connection type. Follow the steps described in section13.3
•
Using USB port. Refer to the steps in section 2.4 (USB Port)
DevConfig will attempt to make a connection, which
may take up to 60 seconds. If this step fails, follow
fault finding methods to confirm the station is
powered up and online.
Send the file
. Once connected, select the
File
Control
tab, and use the
Send
button to send the
appropriate file(s).
Start the new program.
Once sent, highlight the
new program, and click the
Run Options
button.
Select both
Run Now
and
Run-on Power Up
and click
Ok
. The new program will now start. Depending on
the program changes, the station may disconnect
and need to be reconnected.
