Troubleshooting
Problem:
One of the following messages is displayed:
Unknown error, will retry.
Internal error or unexpected MOP loader message.
Network boot, restarting.
The load process was rebooted by the load server. This is not an error indication unless it
keeps repeating.
Bad MOP transfer address.
Transfer address was outside of legal memory range. The DEC MOP protocol attempted to
transfer the server CPU to an address that is not supported by the terminal server.
Bad transfer address.
Execution address pointer was outside of legal memory range.
Load address range error.
Load image extended outside of legal memory range.
Correct Operation:
These messages should only occur during the network loading process, and only after the port
speed has been selected. With the exception of the "Network boot, restarting" message, you
should not receive any of the preceding messages.
