Naming a memory channel
Names (memory tags) such as call signs and the names of the broadcasting stations
can be assigned to the memory channels and the home channel.
Up to 8 of the following characters can be entered as a memory tag.
• Alphabet (capital/small letters), numbers, symbols
Example: Assigning a name like “YM Grp01”

The MEMORY WRITE screen appears.

Select the memory channel that is to be assigned a
name.
Tip
To assign a name to the home channel, recall the home
channel.
