Receiving APRS Beacons
Viewing the beacon information using packet data (RAW display)
Received beacons can be displayed in packet data form before being decoded.

Press on the frequency display screen for one
second or longer, then press
.
The “LOG SELECT” screen will be displayed.

Turn the DIAL, select
[APRS STATION LIST]
, then
press
.
The “STATION LIST” screen is displayed.

Turn the DIAL, select the station whose details you
want to see, then press
.
The detailed information screen will be displayed.

Press
[ ].
The extension key switches.

].
The information display will change.
Tips
• Turn the DIAL to scroll the display.
• When
[
] is pressed, the display moves to
the top of the packet data display.

The display will return to the detailed information screen.
Tip
When a 3rd Party Header Beacon (beacon from I-Gate and others) is received, the route information
included in the text of the 3rd Party Header Beacon will be displayed instead of the information obtained
from the AX.25 packet signal.
