Power-Saving Tips
Follow these suggestions to maximize the battery’s operating time, particularly
when you are relying solely on battery power for extended time periods.

Suspend frequently.
By default, the screen backlight will automatically turn off and the Yakumo
alphaX GPS will also turn off when it has been idle for a period of time. You can
shorten the length of the idle time using

Press the power button to turn off your Yakumo alphaX GPS when it is not in
use, even for a short time. You can also manually turn off the backlight by
pressing and holding the power button.
