Diagnostics and Fault Codes
NOTE:
Fault codes may be generated
in response to extreme operating con-
ditions such as rapid stops, potholes,
or severely discharged battery, there-
fore disabling the truck. Most fault
codes may be reset by turn the key
switch
OFF
, then returning to the
ON
position. If the fault code will not reset,
report the fault immediately.
A combination hourmeter, battery state of charge, and fault indicator is pro-
vided on this lift truck and includes a diagnostic fault code display. The hour-
meter continually displays total operation hours when the key switch is
ON
and current is flowing. Periodic maintenance recommendations are based
on these operating hours.
At 80% of discharge, an LED will flash, indicating energy reserve.
The discharge indicator is programmed for use with a flooded cell battery.
Refer to the maintenance manual for use with a maintenance-free battery. A
fault indicator is also included. The red LED wrench symbol and a fault mes-
sage are displayed if fault occurs. For information about the diagnostics and
fault codes, reference the maintenance manual.
