on the Nameplate.

Do not handle unstable or loosely stacked loads.

Use special care when handling long, high, or wide
loads.
DRIVE CAREFULLY:

Use common sense.

Obey all traffic rules.
•
Yield right-of-way to pedestrians.
•
Avoid bumps, holes, slick spots, and loose material.
•
Slow down and sound horn at cross aisles and where
vision is obstructed.
•
Watch side clearance when turning corners.
•
Operate truck with forks trailing whenever possible.
•
Always face direction of travel.
•
WHEN WALKING, control truck with one hand, using
steer handle.
•
Walk to the side of the steer handle.
•
When truck is operated forks first, use two hands on
steer handle.
•
WHEN RIDING, operate from operator's position only.
DON'T GO IF YOU CAN'T SEE:
•
Always look in direction of travel.
•
Keep a clear view.
AVOID SUDDEN MOVEMENT:
•
Start, stop, travel, steer, and brake smoothly.
•
Avoid bumps, holes, and loose material.
•
Side tipover can occur even when unloaded.
