8.4.1 Factory reset
On occasions, when the robot is undergoing a maintenance or repair for example, it is
necessary to remove all the current user settings so that valid testing can be implemented.
Note: The method described here removes all the current configuration settings AND
the current software version. To remove the configuration settings and RETAIN the
current software version see
(page 128) in the Service menu.
To perform a factory reset
1.
The robot needs to be switched ON. If it is already on, switch it OFF, then ON again.
2.
Switch the user interface ON (using the green on/off button).
3.
Make sure that the robot's battery is fully charged.
4.
Press the numbers
2 3 5 7
.
The reset process will begin and be indicated on the screen.
5.
DO NOT switch the machine OFF until the process is complete.
6.
Reset all the parameter values as required.
