Chapter 9 Troubleshooting (Error messages)
9.4.9 The {L/R} fuse is blown or the {L/R} motor is not
connected.
Scenario
Occurs if the robot can not detect any current in either the Left or the Right wheel motor.
Meaning / Reason
Either a fuse or a connection is faulty.
Solution
1.
Check the fuse and replace if necessary.
2.
Check all the cable connections.
9.4.10 Failed to consistently re-enter the zone
Scenario
Occurs after the robot has crossed the peripheral wire, but is not able to re-enter the field
where it is mowing.
Reason
Possible reasons are:
-
loss of signal,
-
the robot is physically unable to re-enter the field because of mud or obstacles.
Solution
1.
Check the signal on the peripheral wire.
2.
Check that there are no obstacles near the robot,
3.
Check that the robot is not sliding due to mud. If this is the case, stop the robot's
activities and rectify the situation.
9.4.11 SelfTest failed to clear within 15s
Scenario
When the robot starts up, it executes a self-test of a range of functions. This error occurs
if a failure occured on any of the functions tested.
Solution
The same series of tests can be performed using the
Service
>
Test
menu from the
(page 114). This can provide additional information about the function
that failed.
9.4.12 Unhandled exit zone !
Scenario
Occurs when a problem arises as the robot exits the station.
Meaning / Reason
Software error.
Solution
1.
If a "return to station" loop is being used, check that the robot is turning in the
correct direction in order to enter the station. The direction is set as a configuration
