7.4 Installing the positioning beacon
The positioning beacon is a device that emits an UWB (Ultra Wide Band) signal, which is
detected by the robot, and which enables it to locate the charging station to a high degree
of accuracy. It represents reliable state-of-the-art technology termed, Real Time Location
System (RTLS), that is insensitive to weather conditions.
The figure below shows various components of the positioning beacon board. For details

The positioning beacon board can be:

Installed in the charging station
