7.7.2 Configuration using the menus
Once the peripheral wire(s) and the station have been set in place, the installation needs to
be configured.
All configuration settings are defined in the
(page 114).
General configuration procedure using a positioning beacon
•
Open the technician's menu.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Peripheral wires
and create the required number of wires for the
installation.
•
For each wire assign the channel number and check the reverse phase.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Parcels
.
•
Define the properties of the parcel that is associated with each wire.
•
Create new parcels if necessary.
•
If the installation is a multi-field installation, define the start zone parameters for a parcel.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Stations
.
•
Select
Start Discovery
to detect the station and positioning beacon.
•
Select the station that has been found and set the required properties.
•
Define a set of Access parameters for the station.
•
If the installation is a mono-field installation, define the Start zone parameters for the
station.

Open the technician's menu.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Peripheral wires
and create the required number of wires for the
installation.
•
For each wire assign the channel number and check the reverse phase.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Parcels
.
•
Define the properties of the parcel that is associated with each wire.
•
Create new parcels if necessary.
•
If the installation is a multi-field installation, define the start zone parameters for a parcel.
•
Select
Infrastructure
>
Stations
.
•
Select
Create new station
.
•
Select
Connected to parcels
and connect the station to the loop parcel.
•
Select
Station Inside Parcel's Wire
and specify whether the station is on the inside or the
outside of the station loop wire.
