Editing Effect settings
The 01X can also be used to edit the plug-in effects in
Cubase SX 3.
Using the 01X to control the effects in Cubase SX 3 is
essentially a three-stage operation: 1) creating an FX
Channel track, 2) adjusting the send levels, and 3) chang-
ing the effect settings.
1) Creating an FX Channel track
The first step in setting up the plug-in effects is to create an
FX Channel track. Multiple effects can be assigned to this
independent channel, which can be then used as a send
destination for the audio tracks. The send level to the
effect(s) is controlled independently from each track. (For
further details and instructions on using the plug-in effects
within Cubase SX 3, refer to the Cubase SX 3 Getting
Started book and other documentation included with the
software.)
