REMOVING THE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
ASSEMBLIES
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.
WARNING
_
Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
NOTE:
_
Place the scooter on a suitable stand so that
the rear wheel is elevated.
2. Remove:
• rear shock absorber assemblies

CHECKING THE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
ASSEMBLIES
The following procedure applies both of the
rear shock absorber assemblies.
1. Check:
• rear shock absorber rod
Bends/damage
→
Replace the rear shock
absorber assembly.
• rear shock absorber
Oil leaks
→
Replace the rear shock
absorber assembly.
• spring
Damage/wear
→
Replace the rear shock
absorber assembly.
• bolts
Bends/damage/wear
→
Replace.

1. Install:
• rear shock absorber assembly upper nuts

• rear shock absorber assembly lower bolts
