(1) Remove the floor mat.

(2) Pull the lock handles up, and then turn
them 180°.
(3) Remove the fuel tank compartment cov-
er.
(4) Remove the fuel tank compartment drain
plug to drain the water.

(5) If the boat was operated in salt water,
wash down the compartment with fresh
water.
(6) Securely install the drain plug in its origi-
nal position.
(7) Install the fuel tank compartment cover.
(8) Turn the lock handles, and make sure
that the fuel tank compartment cover is
securely closed.
(9) Push the lock handles down.
(10) Install the floor mat in its original position.
Draining the bilge water from the engine
compartment
If there is fuel or a fuel/water mixture in the en-
gine compartment, wipe it up immediately
with dry rags.
WARNING! This indicates a
fuel leak. Do not operate the boat until the
source of the fuel leak is found and cor-
rected. Gasoline and its vapors are highly
flammable and explosive.
(1) Open the engine hood.
(2) Remove the engine compartment drain
plug to drain the water.

(4) Securely install the drain plug in its origi-
nal position.
(5) Close the engine hood.
