HDMI 1080p 24Hz
This outputs the BD-Video encoded in 24Hz frame rate in
HDMI 1080p 24Hz. Smoother video playback may be
available with this function. This function is available
when your TV/AV receiver support this function. For
more details on output formats, refer to “Video output
formats” (p. 40).

Video Process
Noise Reduction
You can set the Noise Reduction to a level of 0 to 3. 0 is
off, and 3 is the maximum level.

De-interlacing Mode
You can select how to detect the video signal. Set to Auto
for normal use. When horizontal stripping noise appears
on the screen, set this to Film/Video to remove the noise.

Screen Saver
You can display the screen saver when you do not operate
this Player for the specified time. You can select the built-
in images or photo slide show.
– To use the slide show as the screen saver, create the
“autopict” folder under the root directory of the USB
memory device, put at 3 or more photo files (JPEG,
GIF and PNG format files) into the folder, and
connect the USB memory device to this Player.
– “SlideShow order” and “Transition” works when the
slide show is used as the screen saver. These settings
are synchronized with the photo slide show settings
in the On Screen menu (p. 27).
Time
You can set the amount of time (minutes) to activate the
screen saver. If you do not operate this Player for the
specified time, the unit will automatically activate the
screen saver.

SlideShow order
You can enable/disable the shuffle function for the screen
saver (slide show).

The photos are displayed in normal order.
Shuffle
The photos are displayed in random order.
Transition
You can select the transition type for the screen saver
(slide show).

Closed Caption
CC Attribute
You can set the appearance of closed captions. When Auto
is selected, digital closed captions will be displayed in
default settings. When Custom is selected, you can
customize the appearance of closed captions (Font color,
Font size, etc.) manually.
