g. Start the engine and warm up for a
few minutes. While warming up,
check for oil leakage. If oil leakage is
found, stop the engine immediately,
and check for the cause.
h. Check the oil level.

Cooling system
1. If your machine overheats, perform the
following checks.
NOTE:
If it is difficult to get the recommended
coolant, tap water can be temporarily used,
provided that it is changed to the recom-
mended coolant as soon as possible.

Removing the radiator cap when the
engine and radiator are still hot.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
You could be burned by hot fluid and
steam blown out under pressure.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Wait for the engine to cool before
removing the radiator cap. Always use a
thick rag over the cap. Allow any
remaining pressure to escape before
completely removing the cap.
