Firmware
Firmware refers to the operating software designed for your CD-R/RW drive. It is
stored in the drive’s flash memory so that it can be rewritten.
For the operation reliability, the latest firmware is available on the internet. For
information about the latest firmware, refer to the following websites.

Checking the firmware version in the CRW-F1SX drive
For Windows XP/2000 Professional/Macintosh
Check the firmware version with the CD writing software.
For Windows 95/98/98 Second Edition/Me
In the Device Manager dialog box (P. 21), select YAMAHA CRW-F1S to display
the YAMAHA CRW-F1S Properties dialog box, and then select the Settings tab.
The revision number varies
depending on the default
firmware version.
