Example of Step Recording — Chord/Section Events
These instructions show how to input the Chord/Section change events of the above notation via Step Recording. Before
starting, note the following points:
• Turn off the STYLE CONTROL [AUTO FILL IN] button on the panel.
• Select a conventional 4-beat Style.
NOTE
In order to detect the chord played in the chord section of the keyboard, set the Fingering type (
) to a setting other than
“Full Keyboard” and “AI Full Keyboard.” Also, you need to set the “Stop ACMP” parameter to a setting other than “Disabled” in
the Style Setting display (
).

Enter the chords for the Main A section.

Press the MAIN VARIATION [A] button.

Touch the half-note length ( ) to turn it on.

Play the chords C, F and G in the chord section of the keyboard.

Enter the chords for the Break section.

Press the [BREAK] button.

Touch the quarter-note length ( ) to turn it on.

Play the chords F and G7 in the chord section of the keyboard.
NOTE
To enter fill-ins, turn the [AUTO FILL IN] button to on, and simply press the desired MAIN VARIATION [A] – [D] button.
