16. Removal of the MOTOR PCB
ASS'Y and THERMISTOR UNIT
1. Remove the top case unit following “1. Removal of the
top case unit and terminal cover ASS'Y.”
2. Remove the MAIN PCB ASS'Y following “2. Removal
of the MAIN PCB ASS'Y.”
3. Remove the duct fan following “3. Removal of the
exhaust duct ASS'Y.”
4. Remove the main bottom shield following “4. Removal
of the cooling fan (lamp).”
5. Remove the optical unit following “6. Removal of the
optical unit.”
6. Remove the one screw (

) as shown in Fig. 2-15.
7. Disconnect the connector (J2) on the MOTOR PCB
ASS'Y as shown in Fig. 2-15.
8. Remove the MOTOR PCB ASS'Y as shown in Fig. 2-15.
9. Remove the one screw (

) as shown in Fig. 2-15.
10. Remove the THERMISTOR UNIT as shown in Fig. 2-15.
17. Removal of the motor unit
1. Remove the top case unit following “1. Removal of the
top case unit and terminal cover ASS'Y.”
2. Remove the MAIN PCB ASS'Y following “2. Removal
of the MAIN PCB ASS'Y.”
3. Remove the duct fan following “3. Removal of the
exhaust duct ASS'Y.”
4. Remove the main bottom shield following “4. Removal
of the cooling fan (lamp).”
5. Remove the optical unit following “6. Removal of the
optical unit.”
6. Remove the lens unit following “12. Removal of the
lens unit.”
7. Remove the two screws (

) as shown in Fig. 2-16.
8. Remove the frame cover as shown in Fig. 2-16.
9. Disconnect the connector (J2) on the MOTOR PCB
ASS'Y as shown in Fig. 2-15.
10. Remove the two screws (

) as shown in Fig. 2-16.
11. Remove the motor unit as shown in Fig. 2-16.
