2. Select [Preferences] for [Edit] of the menu.
(The [DLP Composer Preferences] screen will appear.)
3. Select [Communications], put a checkmark next to
[Serial Port (DDP2000 only)], and select a port to use.
4. Click [Configure].
(The [Serial Port Configuration] screen will appear.)
5. Set the items on the [Serial Port Configuration] screen
as follows.
6. Click [OK] on the [Serial Port Configuration] screen.
7. Click [OK] on the [DLP Composer Preferences] screen.
8. Move the cursor to [Flash Loader] on the Project window
of [DLP Composer (TM) Lite].
(The [Flash Loader] screen will appear.)
9. Click [Browse] next to [Flash Image File] of [Option] and
select [DP53_Flash_v***.img] for download.
10. Put a checkmark next to Skip Boot Loader Area.
11. Remove the Lamp cover unit from the projector.
12. Connect the power cable to the projector.
13. The STATUS LED on the projector illuminates green for
about 5 seconds. While the LED is illuminating green,
click [Reset Bus] on the [Flash Loader] screen and then
click [Start Download]. When the dialog box is displayed,
click [Yes].
Note: The projector automatically starts initialization upon
completion of download when the EEPROM is new.
Therefore, do not turn off the projector immediately
after the download is completed. (The STATUS LED
keeps illuminating red during the initialization. When
the initialization is completed, the POWER LED blinks
alternately red and green.) If the projector is turned
off during the initialization, it resumes the initialization
at the next power-on.

Note:
When it passes 5 seconds or longer without any
operation after the power cable is connected to the
projector, the STATUS LED goes off, the POWER LED
blinks alternately red and green, and download becomes
impossible. In such a case, connect the power cable to
the projector again and retry download.
