OPERATOR SAFETY
!
Y-2744
Y-68
Yamaha PTVs are designed to be
simple to operate. However, be sure
to observe the following to reduce
the risk of serious injury or death due
to loss of control and other hazards:
BEFORE OPERATING
THE PTV
l
Read this Owner’s/Operator’s
manual and all safety and instruction
labels on the PTV before operating.
l
Perform the pre-operation checks
found in Section 6 of this manual.
l
Only authorized people should
drive the PTV, from the driver’s
side only, and only in designated
areas.
l
Do not allow more than two
occupants per seat. This PTV is
restricted to two occupants, unless
equipped with a rear seat.
l
Do not operate the PTV while
under the influence of alcohol or
drugs; their effect on vision and
judgment make operating a PTV
dangerous.
l
Do not operate the PTV on public
streets, roads or highways; unless
allowed by law or the local
regulating authority.
WHILE OPERATING THE
PTV
l
Keep your entire body inside the
PTV, remain seated, and hold on
when the car is in motion.
l
Do not start the PTV until all
occupants are seated.
l
Keep your hands on the steering
wheel and your eyes on the path
ahead.
