Integrating Electronic & Acoustic Drums
The following describes a couple of examples of how you can integrate electronic and acoustic drums.
Adding Pads to an Acoustic Drum
Set
By attaching a CSAT924A Cymbal Stand Attachment and
a drum holder to the cymbal stand from an acoustic drum
kit, you can easily add a pad such as the XP80, XP70, and
TP70 to that kit. The following diagram shows a typical
example of how the various components can be set up.
When assembled, set the Pad Type parameter. (MENU/
TRIGGER/Pad Type)

Playing the DTX-PRO Using Acous-
tic Drums
You can attach a DT50K or DT50S Drum Trigger to the
snare drum or the bass drum and connect to the [

] jack or the [

SNARE] jack on the DTX-PRO to send
trigger signals to your drum trigger module whenever the
drum is struck. After connecting cables, set the pad type
parameter. (MENU/TRIGGER/Pad Type)
